Sermon preached by Ms. Elizabeth Holland, Postulant, on Apr. 23, 2023: “Our journey is not easy, and often we do not realize who is walking beside us. I invite all of us to be more present in the moment, to pause and breathe deeply. It is not about checking the right boxes or saying the right things, to make sure we look good or pass the “faith test.” Life sometimes hurts, and when it does, remember that you are loved, and you are not alone. Maybe we are all on a walk from Emmaus, travelling with others which means we are travelling with Christ.”
