Sermon preached by The Rev. Katherine Sedwick, Rector, on May 21, 2023: “You’ve heard me refer to crosses like ours (without a Christ figure on them) as a Resurrection Cross, meaning we acknowledge Jesus crucified, died, and resurrected. So, what would an Ascension Cross look like? In Acts Luke tells of Jesus ascending right in front of the disciples, ‘he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.'”

Sermon preached by The Rev. Katherine Sedwick, Rector, on May 14, 2023: “Jesus has already told them what is coming. Mary has anointed his feet. They have shared a final supper together. Sermon preached by Ms. Elizabeth Holland, Postulant, on Apr. 23, 2023: “Our journey is not easy, and often we do not realize who is walking beside us. I invite all of us to be more present in the moment, to pause and breathe deeply. It is not about checking the right boxes or saying the right things, to make sure we look good or pass the “faith test.” Life sometimes hurts, and when it does, remember that you are loved, and you are not alone. Maybe we are all on a walk from Emmaus, travelling with others which means we are travelling with Christ.”
