Advent greetings as Christmas draws near! I think of you all so often, and pray for you each day in chapel. It is always good to catch glimpses of familiar faces on the livestream, too! Each quarter I send updates to those who are supporting my discernment journey. I’m very grateful that Mother Katherine invites me to share them with you– see below! Always we begin again. We take steps every day towards our wholeness of God, says Bishop Rickel. We sometimes stumble and fall, but we get on the path and keep walking. Always we begin again, says the Bishop. During this time of growth, he challenges us to do ordinary things extra-ordinarily well. Whether it is doing the dishes, taking a walk, being on a Zoom call or whatever else we are called to do during the day, find the holiness, the sacred in the mundane—in the ordinary tasks of the day.
