IHS Student Parking at St. Michael’s

Parents or guardians of Issaquah High School students or students who are 18 or older may purchase an annual parking permit from the church. The cost of the permit is $200 and is valid from the first to the last day of school. Please note that this is not tax-deductible.

Permits are limited and are only issued on specific days each year. Call our office at 425-392-3215 to determine availability before paying the fee.

To save time, please download, print, and complete the Parking Agreement Form before visiting our office.

Payment of the $200 fee can be made in cash or online via our secure giving portal. Checks are not accepted. When using our giving portal, scroll down to Non-deductible Payments and enter $200 in the Parking Lot Use Fees box, set the Frequency to One Time, and the start date to the current date. Scroll a bit further down and select Donation is In Honor of and enter your student’s name and license plate number. See below for an example.

The following conditions are included in the Parking Agreement Form.

  • Student must maintain current information on file with St. Michael’s. Changes must be submitted, in writing 1 week ahead of time, to office (i.e. change of car; change in personal information or insurance provider).
  • Each Permit assigns a specific vehicle to be allowed to park on the eastern-most row of stalls. Students may not provide their Parking Permit to another student.
  • Parking Permit grants students the privilege to park in the parking lot during school hours and for practice time immediately afterwards.
  • Student Parking Permit must be face up and clearly visible through the front window of the car. If it is not clearly visible, a warning will be issued. More than one warning and we will have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense.
  • If the license number of the car does not match the license plate number of the permit, a warning will be issued. More than one warning and we will have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense.
  • Students assume responsibility for keeping the area around their vehicle clean.
  • St. Michael’s does not assume responsibility for property theft or damage to vehicles. Student must report theft, accident, or vandalism to local law enforcement authorities and the church.
  • If your permit is lost, you must arrange with the Parish Administrator for a replacement, during working hours (as posted).
  • Church officials are neither qualified nor trained to assist students in gaining access to their car or in its maintenance.
  • St. Michael’s reserves the right to temporarily suspend parking privileges when a church event requires full use of the parking lot, although this is extremely rare. Should such an occasion arise, St. Michael’s with either place a written notice on the windshield of student automobiles in advance or send an email.
  • The speed limit in the church parking lot is 5 MPH and will be strictly enforced.
  • Obey all entrance, exit and directional markings.
  • Speeding, reckless driving, or endangerment in the St. Michael’s parking lot or on adjacent streets may result in revocation of the Parking Permit.
  • Student must comply with legally mandated insurance regulations, and have current proof of insurance with the car at all times.
  • Parking without the assigned St. Michael’s Student Parking Permit is subject to towing at the owner’s expense and forfeiture of parking privileges.
  • Violation of these rules will result in a student warning, possible revocation of permit and/or towing of vehicle at the owner’s expense.
  • Permits are valid for one school year only and expire after the last day of school as stated on the Issaquah School District calendar.

If your vehicle is towed, you must call Ruby’s Towing at 425-392-5707. Church staff cannot assist you if your vehicle has been towed from the parking lot.
