Attending services in-person

Entering the church

  • Everyone age 2 and older must be masked for the entire time you are at church.
  • Please come 15–20 minutes early and go directly to the front main (north) doors. When you arrive, maintain social distancing as you wait your turn to enter. All other doors are exit only.
  • After you enter, step up to a registration table and a Welcome Minister will check you in. The Welcome Minister will ask you a single screening question—or, for those who have not already done so online, will ask you to fill out and sign the disclosure and screening formIf you appear feverish or ill, have any other adverse health symptoms, or refuse to wear a mask, you will be asked to return home.
  • A Vestry Person will help you find seats in the church.
  • Restrooms are located on the main floor by the east doors. Please observe the two-person occupancy limit and wipe down any surfaces touched with a disinfecting wipe.

During the service

  • We will share the Peace with a bow or nod – no physical contact outside your family group.
  • The priest will give specific instructions for safely coming forward to receive Communion.
  • We will be receiving the Eucharist in in one kind only – bread.
  • After the Dismissal, Welcome Ministers or a Vestry Person will help guide you to the southeast nave door to exit. There is no in-person Coffee Hour or programming after the liturgy.

Pre-registering to attend the 10:30 AM service on Sunday

  • A limited number of persons are able to pre-register each week in order to adhere to published health guidance. Currently, attendance is limited to 45, including those volunteering and serving.
  • Reservations for each Sunday service are made available on the preceding Monday at 8:00 AM (only one Sunday at a time will be open for reservations).
  • You will register online or by phone, and registration will include completion of a digital disclosure and screening form and agreeing to safety protocols (online, or in-person when you arrive on Sunday).
  • Beginning June 13, childcare is available from 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM for those who add it to their pre-registration. We offer childcare for children from 3 months to age 3. Currently, we are limiting nursery occupancy to one vaccinated caregiver and up to four children. As always, children are welcome in worship.

All records of attendance and disclosure and screening forms will be confidential, but will be retained a period of four weeks. Records will be accessed only for contact tracing or notices should the need arise.
